The main objective of the Amiens ESN is to help the integration of students during their international mobility and to promote intercultural exchanges with French students. Activities : - trips and visits (for example to the Baie de Somme, Strasbourg, Lille, Brussels) - cultural events (outings to the Comédie de Picardie, the Maison de la Culture, Cinérasmus) - linguistic free events (Café des Langues and Maison des Langues) - culinary discovery events (tasting of products and specialities from Picardy, International Dinner) - social events such as Social Erasmus and Erasmus in Schools (which aim to involve international students in the life of the host community and create a link with the city and its inhabitants : conferences on mobility and the promotion of interculturality, talk about about their home country in schools, participate in events aimed at raising awareness of problems and the importance of respecting the environment in which they live during their stay. Do not hesitate to join the Amiens ESN and take part in its various events. It is a perfect opportunity to meet other international students, to enrich yourself through exchanges and to become a "global citizen". BuddySystem ESN France has developed the BuddySystem, a programme where international students are sponsored by French students in order to welcome and integrate international students into local life. This sponsorship allows the international student to have a personalised welcome, a bespoke contact person to help him/her with his/her administrative procedures, to introduce him/her to the city, his/her place of study/work, or to provide personalised assistance whenever required.
